No curb appeal for a home pricesd in this range! Too pricey for what you get! I went to an open house. On the Market over 500+ days. I'd expect to pay between 675,000 and 729,000 for this house. The landscaping is horrible for a home in this price range, the work site is cluttered with stuff, there is no alarm system installed, its an extra. The driveway is dark with poor lighting. The deck at back is very small. The carpets and interior design look more commercial than something warm and cozy you would want in your own home! There is no high-speed CAT-5 internet cable in the walls, its and extra? I'd consider buying a lot and building my own home with my own builder. The Raveis Sales agent was friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if the builder is Primus Construction or R. D. Wolf there are signs for both in and around the property? Windswept way and Liberty Croft estates a half mile away seemed like more bang for the buck! Crystal Views in Ellington is well done, Tolland has some nice homes, I may take a look at these again before I buy in the spring. The location is ideal, Grant Hill Estates has a lot of potential with develpers who know the market. Maybe I will buy a lot and have my own designer and builder.
Drove by recently, the builder seems to have made a LARGE pit of water on the front lawn, I'm not sure why? There are deep ditches from water runoff from this large pit. Not attractive. Whoever buys this in gonna have to spend 75,000 to 100,000 on landscaping and drainage.
