KB Home (a.k.a. Kaufman & Broad) completed my house about 6 months after the estimated date. KB Home offered no compensation or even an explanation for the lengthy delay. I also found their post-sales customer service to be far less than satisfactory. KB Home's customer service representatives, ranging from their CSRs to their regional vice president of warranty, were more interested in baffling homeowners with BS than resolving problems. Indeed, they were exceptionally adept, likely due to extensive experience, at providing creative excuses to avoid responsibilty for fixing defects. On another note, I found KB Home's salepersons to be courteous and professional. I cannot blame them for my problems as they also purchased homes in the same development and their homes also suffered from the same problems. They no longer work for KB Home.
