DO NOT BUY A HOME FROM BEAZER!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Sales Associate is a lying B$#*&@ who will tell you everything you want to hear to get the sale. She cursed out my realtor on several occassions & then just before close got into a heated argument with both my realtor & myself & cursed us both out. The gentlemen who are the warranty reps for our neighborhood will tell you everything you want to hear over the phone & to your face; but then they don't follow thru with repairing anything until you threaten them with getting a lawyer or etc. And then IF & ONLY IF they choose to actually make a repair - it is done so poorly that you then regret asking them to fix it. This community has homes that do NOT meet code & Shelby County code sucks, there are MAJOR HVAC & electrical problems throughout the neighborhood. We also have major flooding at the least amount of rain which leads to our homes having moisture intrusion problems which leads to mold. There have been at least 2 homes Beazer bought back due to mold & there are currently 3 people with visible mold in their homes arguing with Beazer to fix it or buy the house back - we have lots of sick people in our neighborhood, one lady is being threatened by the school because her kids have missed so much school & she has visible mold in her house & they will not address the issue. It's so bad we are looking for a lawyer that will take a class action lawsuit on contingency. Do your research - just use the internet & you will be shocked at all the corruption with Beazer as well as all the lawsuits dating back into the 1990's for shoddy homes with moisture intrusion problems big time!
