Not so COZY HOME!
Our home was not tested for plastic soil. Cozy Homes turned in a claim to their insurance company that sent out a Structural engineer and he determined with his knowledge the house was built on PLASTIC SOIL. We have cracks in our foundation, humps in the upper floors, 1 inch gaps between the foundation walls and floors, the water heater is being displaced and the pipes are about to bend in half. Doors won't close, cracks in the drywall, ceiling areas that are about to fall apart due to the displacement of the foundation and the plastic soil. The builder came out and basically stated that this was the worst basement he had ever seen but they did nothing wrong. They sold us the lot and built the house but they dont want to take any responsibility.
