Beware of All Star Builders in the Prairieville, Louisiana area

Since we were transferring here due to my husband's job, we needed our home to be completed on time. The builder, All Star Builders (Dennis Carlin), promised that our home would be completed by early December. To make an extremely long story short, the painters were still painting inside as we were doing our "final walk-through." There were no shelves or clothes rods in any of the closets the day before we were set to close on the house. The electrical wiring was supposedly cut by a disgruntled former employee and they had to work almost all night to fix that problem the day before closing, too. The grumpy man and the two sisters who were responsible for the construction were rude and hateful when interacting with us. None of our neighbors have had pleasant dealings with the All Star people. All Star is now beginning a large subdivision, Renaissance, down the street. Dennis Carlin has kept the same people to be responsible for construction, so I can only say, "Let the buyer beware." After two years, our move-in punch list and one-year warranty work is not yet complete.
