Jerry Wardlaw homes
For over a year we have been trying to get our builder to repair the defects in our home, only one item has been repaired to date. There have been many written letters, e-mails, and phone calls between us and the builders representatives. There have been complaints to every agency I know to complain to. We have gone through arbitration, which is a huge waste of time and money. Arbitration is not designed to go in the home owners favor. Please ask to see the warranty book prior to signing any contracts the "tolerances or allowable defects" are not typically what most of us would allow. Read before you buy, if the rules fit you in the worst case scenario that is good. If not you should think twice prior to buying..
