Do yourself and favor and look elsewhere.
House sat with no work for 3 weeks before close date. Finally started working on it two weeks before close date. Work looks like it was just thrown together and builder ignored problems that were pointed out in a very reasonable time frame prior to close. He waited so long that the final punch list had to be given after close and we are still waiting on fixes 10 months later. We got a lot of "lip service". Neighbors who were supose to get and 11 month walk through said they never got it and list of problems that were given have never been addressed. Considering that he has not responded to many request to fix things, I seriously doubt that we will get a walk through either. The builder is rarely even seen in the neiborhood. We were told, after the fact, that his previous community had to hire a lwyer to get him to fix things. It was too late for us at that point. I would also recommend that anyone buying in a new home subdivison, get their own agent and do not use the subdivison agent. We are so unhappy the we are very seriously considering putting this home on the market. We are very heartbroken over it.
