Hurricane prone area

We are almost finished with new home construction, expect to close in 6 weeks, hence the reason some answers were not given. It has taken a very long time to get this built...but our previous home on the same lot was destroyed in Hurricane Iva, so the fault is really not with the builder. It takes months to of being on a "waiting list" for demo, then permits, etc.
