Whay does EVERY builder pull this kind of crap???

We had our house plans drawn up by an architect. Everything was "great" before we signed the contract; then the builder's "manager" wanted to change things; make the garage smaller, etc. She REALLY screwed things up. I STILL have one room with NO electric; I have called the builder 2 or 3 times and no one returns my calls. He did not finish the "final grading and seeding" in our contract; our lawn and land still looks unfinished. They fired the electrician that wired our house, because he made so many stupid mistakes - we were his "guinea pig" house. Our shower floor is cracked already. The builder keeps buying up his subcontractors and competitors; maybe he needs to spend more time keeping his customers happy than worrying about cornering the market in our area. Now we hear that he has a tendency to get things 95% finished - but NEVER 100% - well that happened to us for sure.
