Do not Buy Here.

This property in not a Toll Brothers build, through it is advertised as one and sold as one. It was orginally built as an apartment complex by ArchStone. Toll Brothers has decided they will rent units below the monthly mortgage rates of TBI (toll Brother Mortgage Company). Most owners are paying between 500 to 1400 dollars more then a renter each month. Toll is renting about 16 units a month, and possibly selling one. This is not a luxury property, it is an apartment complex.

Irritated

My contract was signed in Feb. of 2005 and settlment was in Oct of 2006. In the 20 months only minimal inforamtion was provided. The builder did offer a one upgrade on minor items (lights, faucets and carpet padding). The sales staff changed at least 3 and possibly 4 times during the 20 month period with what seemed to be little communication between the outgoing and incoming staff.

Retired and loving it!

The original two project managers on our home were difficult to deal with and very obstinate. They did not care about the customer. When a new manager was assigned, issues were quickly resolved and an unhappy customer was made much happier. The construction manager was fabulous. Our home was built a year ago, when building was thriving and builders had a difficult time getting quality workmen. The workmanship was mediocre, at best, and had to be redone. Our construction manager, however, was on top of all the issues and did an excellent job ensuring we had a quality, lovely home to move into.
