NVR is a huge impersonal builder- VERY POOR EXPERIENCE

I would never recommend NVR to anyone interested in a new home. My wife and I signed a contract, but then wanted to back out once we reevaluated the financing options. It was only days after the contract was signed, but NVR kept $1K of our deposit and only was prevented from keeping the additonal $7K deposit because I put a stop pay on the check. They were very difficult to work with, and their lawyers showed no regard for ensuring a positive customer experience. After seeing how they treat their customers, I'm so happy I didn't actually have the house built. This company is so inflexible, you'll likely regret working with them for something as important as the purchase of home.
