Buyer Beware!!!!!Buying a condo from this company and its affiliates was a nightmare. They are a Nevada based builder building condos in California. I put my deposit down in Aug. of 2003 and the condo wasn't ready for me to move into until Oct. 2004. It was originally suppose to be finished in March 2004. What was promised to potential buyers is not what we ended up with. The complex was suppose to be upscale with well thought out amenities. It isn't. Their financing affilities also out right lied about things. Potential buyers were told the development was to be owner occupied, and no sales to investors for at least the first year. This wasn't the case. At least 14 units were recorded in the company's employees and its affiliates names and were either flipped or are up for rent or lease. The 1 year mark is just coming up. Doesn't sound like what they told buyers was true. There are real problems with the companies customer service. You can never get a hold of them. This may be because the majority of the companies subcontractors are also Nevada businesses. Even in an emergency all you get is voicemail. If you are lucky you may hear back in a couple of days. You are told to call any local company to fix the problem if you can't get a hold of them. Your told to just send them the bill. Though, what others have told me is that when you do send them the bill they refuse to pay it. Not until new owners finally started meeting and talking about things was it realized that everyone had been going through the same types of things. I have been trying to get them to repair something that was damaged by their staffs negligence. They say they will replace. Then they say they will compensate me for the damage. However, for this to happen they try and strong arm you into signing a Release of Liability. Releasing the parent company totally from all future claims. So as it stands almost 1 year after the damage, it has not been taken care of because I won't sign the release at the advice of an attorney. This is an item that is under warranty, in a brand new condo and the builder has admitted their staffs negligence was the root of the damage. I personally feel this is harrasment. I have never lived anywhere where I hear so many new homeowners say they will sell and move as soon as they can. It's really sad that an experience as exciting as buying a new home. And for some this is their first, is ruined.
