Our 800K custom build with Nick Eastman was a nightmare from start to finish
Many many issues from beginning to end of the process. This small builder, Nick Eastman Homes was my biggest nightmare. I got all the negative of a small builder and non of the benefit. The problems and his lack of accountability was truly amazing. We have involved lawyers and the formal warrantee process due to the lack of accountability and action taken. It's really scary how this type of experience can happen.
Issues:
4th garage leaks, his response is he told me he woudl do it on the cheap
Front and back porch are stained, cracked and chipped as they were used as a work area for the construction crew over 18 months, his response is it's not covered under warranttee
no hot water plumbing to the left side of a 2 story house so pipes go through the attic, his response..opps
scratched windows because they were not covered during bricking, response.. if you can't see it within 5 feet it's standard
loose and cracked brick and mortar, response.. we try several times to fix it..sorry
there's more but you get the point. I've hired my own lawyer and inspector to have items repair that the builder refused to address. Most of these items are being resolved but it really should not take this long or the energy and time to get what we paid for. It has totally ruined the joy of our new custom home in Georgetown Texas
