Problems in community
There were several problems that still remain unfinished and these were the builders responsibility. They still have not corrected the problems. In a brand new community all of our driveways have patches on them and it looks terrible. But workers on 2 occasions, came to my home and did work on the driveway they weren't supposed to do work on. They (the builder) admitted it was a mistake and never corrected that. They tried to fix our front steps and it looks like an amateur did the work. And an air conditioner had a rusted coil that the water from the air conditioner goes into a gutter and on to a lower roof. The water spread rust on this lower roof and the builders rep said it was sand and it would disappear. When they finally realized what it was after 1 year that's when they replaced the rusted coil in a brand new unit and they said they would fix the roof (replace the damaged shingles). They passed on the blame to the company that put in the units but said it would be replaced. They still have replaced the shingles it damaged.
We faxed a letter in March 2007 and received no response. We just mailed a return receipt letter to the owner/President and another employee. So far we have heard nothing.
Also who ever designed the building left a front light that has to be moved ( we have to pay for it) in order for a storm door to be put on properly. Our community should have sued our builder but unforntuately those in "charge" have not done a single thing to improve the quality of this community.
