We built our TK house in the fall of 2004. Since moving in the family room ceiling has leaked, the sliding doors leaked, the basement still leaks. I have had to reinstall the aluminum flashing in several places after the wind blew it off the house. Our experience with TK was awful. Just this morning I saw that the back door and ceiling were leaking again. I tried to work with them (I even contacted an attorney) but finally decided that continuing to deal with TK was more trouble than it is worth. So now I'm going to fix the problems myself. I would advise anyone thinking about buidling with TK to go elsewhere. Pay the extra money for another builder because you'll wind up saving money (and alot of headache and heartache) in the long run.

We built our house in the winter of 2005. It was hard to keep track of all the quality issues, sub-standard practices, code violations that went on throughout the process. And when it came to addressing the numerous problems, customer service was utterly non-existent. On one occasion I had to take a list of issues up to senior managers in the company to even get a response to some serious problems. Upon inspecting the items listed they denied there were any problems and there would be no actions taken to fix them. THIS WAS AFTER A LISENCED BUILDING ISPECTOR RAISED SERIOUS CONCERN WITH THE LIST OF ITEM UPON INSPECTION.

We built our house 5 years ago and are still in litiigation w/ tk. My BRICK has to come off and be replaced if it doesn't fall off first. I have MOLD. We owned our land for 9 years and were so excited to build our family home. That has been destroyed and one of my daughters will be full grown before this nightmare is over. My brother who is paralyzed bought the land next to ours so that we would be close to him and he still hasn't been able to build either because we are like living in limbo..Only prayer gets me through the day.
