Very well built home and great buying experience for us. If Star Home Builders tells you something or makes an appointment, it's going to happen. I will refer them to my friends. There are many features in our new home that are a step above other home builders in the area. There is really no place in our home that is not visually pleasing and well constructed. We looked at a lot of homes in different areas and we could not find another builder that offered the size, quality or features for the money. The Superintendant even stops by frequently to check on us, I wish we had found this home ten years ago.

This builders quality of workmanship is poor. They hide mistakes well, then after the one year warranty is over, the mistakes start showing up everywhere. Never would I purchase another house from these people. Also what every home owner must know is the new standard roof decking is 7/16. The old standard when quality and pride of workmanship was the rule of the day - the standard was 3/4, and twenty five years later the roof continues to look new. Now in less than 10 years this 7/16 is bent in and out, slopes, looks like 100 years. Star Home Builders is not the builder to purchase from. They build in Athens, Jefferson, Jackson, Winder areas plus more I'm sure
