Miss Newport Coast with many many defects in her Brookfield Homes which is still not fixed.

Brookfield Homes is the worst Builder I have ever dealt with. Their customer service, their President and other are the worst people to deal with. After purchasing a defective home for over a million dollars, they did not want to fix my house they wanted my husband and I to sign our rights away before they fixed it and after two years of waiting and fighting with them, they still have not fixed it. They pay their lawyer to stall and lie and continue to build defective homes and pay off the inspectors of Orange COunty so that they can finish their communities. They are fraudulent. The corporate offices in Canada do not take any responsibility for the offices in Orange county and they talk to you like you are a little child..like you are suppose to be afraid of them. They threaten you and tell you not to do this or that or they won't fix your house...They are mulipitive, controling and deceiving people and yes! I would rather live in the street than in a house build by them..ANYONE WHO CONSIDERS BUYING THEIR HOME NEEDS TO TALK TO ANYONE WHO HAS HAD DEALINGS WITH THEM...DO NOT DO NOT BUY THEIR HOMES!

This is my 4th brand new house. I have never delt with such a poorly ran company before! The quality/craftmanship of the home was terrible. Every one from there building dept to customer service & warranty dept like to pass the buck, instead of rectify problems. They frustrate you into just giving up. There take it or leave it "your lucky to purchase one of our homes") attitude takes all the pleasure out of purchasing a home from this builder. I would not reccomend Brookfield homes, in fact if I had the choice of being homeless or purchasing another home from this builder I would choose homeless.
