Communication Is Critical to Completion

I just wish that the builders were better at communication & not just throught the builders sales associate.

The Design Homes foreman talked us out of getting an official engineering inspection done prior to closing on our house. He promised us/assured us that he would fix anything that went wrong. We had numerous problems with the master bathtub and various other problems that the builder and the foreman have not fixed or repaired and we have been in our house over 18 months now. Buyer beware as Design Homes and the Rogler brothers do Not keep their promises and do not fix their mistakes!

We had over 8 total plumbing leaks in our Bristol model home in the first 4-5 months after moving in our house in 2003. Design Homes Inc took very little action toward helping us resolve all of the plumbing leaks, rather, they delegated everything to their subcontractor, the plumber. Later in 2003 and early 2004 we then had Two VERY LARGE rainleaks in our kitchen/breakfast area due to improper flashing and caulking the North side of our house. The builder representatives for Design Homes Inc tried to use a "band-aid" fix to our home initially by simply using clear caulk over old caulk, rather than fixing the home properly. Thus leading to a 2nd very large rainleak in our house, requiring our kitchen to be re-sheetrocked 3 times total. Still resulting in cracks in our Kitchen ceiling from all of the rain leaks and repairs...
