Acuff Builders in Shawnee, Kansas

It was only two weeks over schedule, and not completely their fault, I had told them that there would be 200 amp service installed on the property, but they said they didn't remember that, so they finished the walls, and then had to take them down again when the electrician showed up. So it put us a couple weeks behind.

This is the best building experience I have ever had. I have built 4 homes and these guys know how the process should work. From the sales process through selections through construction through closing. They are an old, established company that has earned a great reputation in the market. I know why!

Building our home was so easy. The construction manager treated us like we were his only customer. The quality and service was excellent. We feel like we recieved more value for the money we spent than any of the other homes we looked at. Thanks to Lindy for all her help with helping us make selections to customize our home.

It was a pleasure to work with everyone from Acuff and Rhodes Homes, our home is everything we expexted and more from the design to the finish product we felt like we were a part of it all.The workmanship was top rate and there staff were very friendly. We looked for a long time before we chose them to build our home but after much research and talking to many other homeowners we were convinced that Acuff and Rhodes were the ones we could trust with buiding our home. There is something to be said for picking the best people for the job and our house shows it. Thank You

This was the WORST house we have ever purchased (out of 5 homes) and the real estate company is owned by the building company so they were of no assistance at all. They were extremely rude, the house had mold in the walls around the windows, the warranty repairs were never completed after two years and we have given up on this terrible builder. We live in the north area of Kansas City and bought a home in Oakwood Forest and can only say RUN dont walk away from Acuff & Rhodes!
