Bartram Park/Hawthorn(TH) - see all (1) ratings.

2062 sq.ft. Yardley end TH with 2 car attached garage, Hawthorne at Bartram Park - Melanie Dees

My sales counselor, Marie Guy, was extremely professional, honest, and did not use high-pressure sales tactics. She and at least 2 other salespeople bought into this same or similar Pulte townhome communities, and reported being quite satisfied. I have been in my home for 10 months, and have had no noticeable settling issues such as driveway or porch/patio cracks, and all my tile floors and ceilings/walls have remained intact without cracks or loose grout/tiles. All appliances and plumbing function well without leaks. The only complaints I had, which were promptly and courteously attended to were a kitchen electrical outlet that did not work (taken care of the next day I called), and while buffing scratches out of my Corian bartop on the day of closing (after the walk-though), I found a scuff from the buffer on the chrome kitchen faucet handle, and this was re-ordered and replaced promptly and cheerfully. A minor chipping of Stucco and paint adjacent to a seam between two stucco panels over the garage door was repaired within 3 days of my request. I've had no roof leaks, and gutters adequately funnel water away from the foundation. Some dead sod and shrubs (due to summer drought and chinch bugs) has been replaced twice in a reasonable time frame. There are a few minor fit-and-finish cosmetic issues with wavy drywall and uneven knock-down ceiling texture in areas, but most of this has been remedied my me choosing to add extra crown molding and upgraded paint, which has significantly downplayed the appearance of those problems. Soon after moving in, I ripped out all the carpet except for the 3 bedrooms, and replaced it (even the stairs) with high-quality Dupont laminate wood, and the professional floor contractors I hired said they did not have to do any extensive pre-leveling of the subfloor. An independent electrician I hired to upgrade my light fixtures only complained that the builder-grade light fixtures were "jerry-rigged" into the ceilings because where they were installed, it was meant for ceiling fans (pre-wired with braces) but I put up stationary lights instead. He said it just took 3 times as long to install because of the builder's contractors "shoving" the pre-existing lights into the bracing and stripping screws, which were hard to remove. Overall, however, he remarked that the place looked pretty well built, with all cinderblock first floor construction, 2nd floor frame, and the entire home with stucco (so far no cracks) and 30 year architectural shingles. I'm very happy here.
