What happened to customer service?

We've seen subcontractors not using roofing paperand not using ice dam where needed. Some homes have damaged or missing vapor barrier in some places. Several homes, including ours, have had to have vinyl/laminate flooring replaced because the glue didn't hold. Several homes, including ours, had pipes freeze numerous times during the winter due to improper insulating. Our furnace was not installed to manufactor's specifications. We've had to have sloping floors leveled out. We were supposed to have 8 foot ceilings in our unfinished basement- the walls are that high, but the joists lower any future finished ceiling to about 6 feet high. All repairs that have been made have taken months to get done, and we still have issues that have yet to be resolved to our satisfaction. We've had several subcontractors tell us that if something isn't code, they don't have to do it, even though Beazer's own stated standards are higher than the state's code on some issues. We were not told about an annexation that would've affected our decision to build where we did- it was buried in the title that we did not see until closing. We still could've backed away, but would've had to pay a penalty of 3% of the cost of the house. That annexation is now in effect, and the sales rep is telling potential homeowners it's only a possibility.

On the next to last walk-through, I noticed a giant scratch on the (very expensive) upgraded cabines in the kitchen. We had chosen the highest grade cabinetry, and I was not going to have a prominent drawer with a huge blemish. The builder representative agreed to fix it. On our next walk through, that drawer looked great, but I reexamined the others -- only to find that the representative had MOVED the scratched drawer from one location to another instead of replacing it. I was LIVID! All in all, we have been very happy with the quality of our home except for two things: the front door has never appeared to be properly hung / lined up, and the kitchen floor and corner cabinets get freezing cold in the winter months. (We suspected a leak, and Trinity agreed to check for us and never followed up.)
