Pleasant, informative people to work with

The sales associate and the supervisor were excellent to work with as well as the follow-up people who came back to make some repairs. My only complaint is the quality of the painting on the interior of the home.

The customer service is not up to par. The warranty service is not good at all. They come out without letting people know they are coming. And when you make arrangements to come out, they don't show are call back. I have been trying to get in contact with them with no prevail. I love the home, the salesrep and the neighborhood, but the service sucks!

They really care about customer service. The only weakness is their response and timeliness was very poor with warranty work.

I closed on my Lennar home in 1999. Repairs were done for a bowed-out wall, the jets failed in the tub, the carpet was laid incorrectly and was defective, the brick meant for the house next door was put on my house and my brick was put on their house so they knocked it off and started from scratch....now I have multiple plumbling problems that are are patching up for me but it's shoddy and a joke. The hot water heater was originally improperly installed and blew up, then leaked through the living room ceiling and caving in, the bathtub drain had no putty allowing in to leak for all this time into the wall and closet...today their plumber confirmed that repairs were done before we moved in and it looks like problems were covered up...I have mold in the wall all along the back of my house, mold in the master bedroom closet and bathroom and insurance will not cover intermitant leaks...Lennar will take out old drywall and replace but willnot cover the painting, the molded wet carpet, or the original plumbing repairs for the emergency hot water heater visit. I'm so frustrated and convinced that this house was slapped together in a shoddy manner...the defects are emerging daily

We bought a Lennar home that had been owned by a previous owner. The sales representative had disclosed the CRACKED SLAB with them. These people moved in and within 3 months Lennar purchased the home back from them because of a skunk that died in the walls. Lennar sold the house to us after the skunk odor was gone and never mentioned the cracked slab. In fact the sales rep refused to allow us to see the house until they had replaced the carpet covering the floor. After living in the house almost a year, we decided to get an inspector to check for warranty items. That is when we discovered the cracked slab that goes across the entire width of our home. This is no small crack and it literally cuts our home in two pieces. During our 10 month FIGHT with Lennar we were treated disrespectfully. We are living in one of Lennar's Active Adult Communities. We put our retirement savings into our home and would never have bought a home that had a cracked slab. Even though they are now beginning to make repairs on our home, we know that it will be very difficult to resale. We could never recommend anyone buying a home from Lennar. We also encourage every home buyer (no matter who builds your home) to GET AN INSPECTION BEFORE BUYING A HOME.
