During the construction phase of the home I we had a very good relationship with the builder but I had to monitor the construction a little more than I thought needed because the superintendant was not making the rounds to catch a lot of the mistakes and I found myself at the house almost daily keeping tabs on the progress, making list and catching a lot of contractor mistakes. Thank goodness I have a construction remodeling business and I am an Electrical engineer as well otherwise to the novice these items would go un-corrected. I have been in the house for three weeks now and I am still fighting issues from my last walk before closing. Seems once the closing happens then the builder just wants to fade away quietly in the night. My wife and I make daily phone calls to the sales person, superitendent and corporate offices for status and scheduling the work and do not recieve responses sometimes for a couple of days. Thank goodness we only have a couple of items left to complete, this has been pretty stressful for the both of us. All said, I believe these item will be worked out shortly and we can enjoy the home which we do love the plan the view and the community.
