I would strongly recommend this builder. They treated us respectfully and were very attentive to our concerns during the building process. The management team bent over backwards for us when a miscommunication problem occured that required for us to build on another lot.

14 homes built by Centex on one street were riduled with defects, from severe ceiling cracks, to wrong construction, landscape flooding, exterior wood untreated, poor caulking, wood joints cut improperly from day one. 5-years later all the wood exterior is rotting away on every house despite routine maintenance. Centex refuses to stand behind its product citing a 1-year warranty and has their attorney's to enforce. Very intimidating! I should have know this would be a nightmare when the Centex construction supervisor told me the reason they can sell homes so cheap is because they use Mexican labor. Believe me this was not cheap and now will cost every homeowner several thousand dollars to repair their homes.
