We contracted Wayne Homes to build our home in Destin, FL in Aug. 03. Construction began Jan. 04 and after 15 months our experience with them can only be described as a nightmare. To make matters worse construction won't be complete for at least another 60 days. During this time the management of the Destin Wayne Homes office has gone from bad to worse. We have dealt with 3 division presidents and are now attempting to work with our 6th field manager. To date, there has never been a set of plans for our home. This has resulted in sub-contractors having to re-do their work during every phase of our construction. Sub-contractors stop working for them because the local office is so disorganized they can never get their job finished without having to go back and re-do their work because of purchasing errors and no building plans. We thought we were building our dream home.
