Stay Away From this Builder

My home has suffered structural failure of the foundation and floor. This has caused extensive damage to the interior walls, floors and ceilings. The builder tried to keep the structural engineer's report from me but I was able to get a copy when the builder wanted me to sign a release to partially repair the exterior. It appears the builder attempted to cover up and hide the severity of the failure and I have been waiting over 3 years for the arbitration to be scheduled. For some reason it just gets put off. I had to hire two Structural Engineers to find out just what needed to be repaired. I now have an estimate that is almost three times what I paid for the entire house. The cause of the foundation and floor failure was insufficient soil compaction. The builder was responsible for the site preparation and it appears they took a short cut which has caused me and my family nothing but heartache.
