John has been great. The house was already built when we found it but we bought it directly from him (vs going through a realtor). The quality that he put into the house is outstanding and it already felt like a home before any furniture was placed inside. It's a great location and a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood that is close to the essentials (grocery, banks, gas station,etc). Easterling construction also gave us the opportunity to work with a hometown builder and not a conglomerate. Easterling has a great reputation for building and the quality far exceeded any of the many homes we looked at in the area. Definitely a diamond in the rough. John also made an effort to pay attention to the smaller details of the home (like keeping the mature trees, designer painting and design details, etc) and we definitely appreciated him for that.
