Elliott Building Group touts their commitment to quality, attention to detail, and customer service throughout their website and sales brochures. We have yet to see these core values fully adhered to by Elliott Building Group. Overall, Elliott Building Group builds a beautiful home but their commitment to warranty repairs as well as any post-closing problem resolution is on the borderline of despicable.
Upon signing a sales contract and closing on your home we saw the other side of The Elliott Building Group. Our warranty repair appears to be almost non-existent regardless of the severity of our issues. When they do come on site, they usually tell us how they will to remedy a problem. However, they never schedule the repairs they told you they were going to fix! Months and even a year may go by before any action is taken. Having built 2 new construction homes in the last 7 this by far is the worst display of communication and accountability we have experienced with any builder or subcontractor(s).
We would urge any prospective home buyer to drive through and speak with residents in other Elliott Building Group communities listed on their website and ask them how they were treated. Ask these Elliott Building Group homeowners how they were treated post sale and how long it takes for any issue to be resolved-big or small. Don't take a handful of dated web testimonials as gospel because we can assure you that this is probably not the case.
In the softening market for luxury homes any prospective buyer has access to many other builders that want to earn their business. We fell in love with the appearance and the vision of what this Elliott community would become and this vision drove us to buy here without looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, if we knew then what we we know now, our home would have most likely been built with another builder.
