Great home - Watch the exterior though!!

Great builder but carefully examine the exterior of the home. The landscaping and concrete both have problems and the backfilling is inadequate. Our lot is losing its proper drainage path from settling.

KB is NOT a good builder

Extraordinarlily unresponsive. one problem took 2 1/2 years to resolve and I'm still not convinced it's right.

We purchased the home after another buyer had failed to qualify. We didn't get to select any options but it was a nice home. The biggest problem was the site prep. The sub-contractor did a poor job of excavation which caused many homes to have water in the basements and crawl spaces. KB was slow to get it under control but when they did come in their sub-contractor did a great job. They upgraded the Sub-pump, cleaned and decon'd all surfaces. Removed construction debris and covered all wall and soil with a moisture barier far better than I would have expected. Still, the water will probably always be there. We sold it at a loss after two years.
