Heritage Homes In Gulf Community - Great Choice

Heritage Homes gave us our shot! We were newlyweds, with new credit, but good jobs and just wanted a nice house on a big lot. We could not afford to buy a house already on acreage, but with Heritage Homes' fairly priced homes, we found that we could qualify for a loan based on the appraisal of their home on our chosen lot at a completely affordable price, and got tons of equity just by moving into it! So our very first home was a 1913sqft 4bed home on 3+ acres. And not only that, but we signed the contract with them in April and the house was done in July! Everything was high quality (we had some problems though with the cabinet hinges, but they replaced the problem ones, and fixed some of the vinyl flooring that wasn't even, so any of our minor issues were settled extremely quickly.) and looked fantastic. As a matter of fact, our house has gone through 2 or 3 hurricanes with only a handful of shingles to come off. We have never had to put a hurricane claim on our home. And here is the kicker: After living in it for 3 years, we had to move to a new state for a job transfer, and even in this terrible real estate market, after all the realtor, closings, and bank notes were paid, we still came out about $100k ahead!!! This could not have happened if we had bought the house, building is absolutely the way to go. So in our new community, we are not going to buy either, we are going to find some more acreage and do the same thing. If you are looking to build in Foley/Mobile, definitely make Heritage the first stop! They will customize the plan however you want, and you will not believe that you can afford your very own brand new home- just the way YOU want it!
