Problems after purchase.

foundation has cracked in kitchen and pantry. They have repaired it 3 times, trying different materials that are recommeded, and replacing both floors in a timely manner. I am extremely satisfied with their work and effort to please.

I was the second owner of a 5 year old house built by Ideal Homes. What I discovered after numerous roof leaks was the the roofing felt was either missing in places or incorrectly installed or had cuts in it from the roofer cutting the blisters out of the felt. They were not installing the roofing felt all the way to the edge of the roof on their new homes(like the building code requires), until the City of Norman made them. I also ended up getting termites from Ideal improperly installing hardboard siding below concrete (which they did on a vast majority of their homes, until again the city of Norman had to make them stop this practice). It was shameful as to how Ideal Homes treated me and my wife when the evidence was clear as to what Ideal Homes did wrong. They either incompetent or liars and unremorseful as to how they had harmed us. I do not recommend you buy an Ideal Home.
