Signed contract in December 2004. So far, everything is on schedule according to what they promised. Permits were applied for and have been approved and received all within the time frame indicated in the contract. Right now waiting for "clearance to begin construction" according to liaison person. All in all at this time we are extremely satisfied with progress. Of course, time will tell. ICI's department to assist with construction loan was outstanding. Very professional and smooth operation. Our construction loan was approved within 24 hours and it will "flip" to permanent fixed loan and has a 13 month lock on rate. Can't beat that. Will keep the forum up to date.

Our home was completed two months late but we understood the delay due to three hurricanes in the area during construction. Our superintendent was fantastic during the building process and continues to be so during follow-through on our 30-day list. We feel we have a quality home and would highly recommend ICI. The "selections" process was flawless--no pressure whatsoever and felt that the standards were so impressive we did very few options or upgrades. The only issues we had were with corporate and that was resolved satisfactorily.

ICI took $1,000 of deposit money because we went back and forth and when we finally agreed on what we wanted, went through everything with the sales consultant after all that and months later,we were told that the house would not fit on our lot. We lost the money because the time ran out for the deposit without going to contract. I am very happy that ICI is $1,000 richer and they did not build my home, I haver heard nothing but horror stories!
