My husband and I did not get pass the inital down payment on the land. We gave them 3500.00 and we were assured that they would be able to get us an in house loan. 2 months later and numerous phone calls later we were told that they could not give us an in house loan. They then suggested that we get one from our bank. By now things are smelling very fishy and we wanted our money back. Not only would they not return phone calls, but the builder lets say for fun sake we say his name is (edited), would not even get on the phone.We still do not have our down payment back. It could be earning interest for us and not them. Maybe you could give us some direction of how to go from here.
