This was not a custom built house but, the fit and finish are less than satisfactory even for a track built home. The last week going into closing we almost backed out entirely. EVH has the potential to be a very decent home builder. They need to slow down and not be in such a hurry. Their superintendents are spread too thin and can't keep the subs in line. If I were to buy an EVH home again, I would look strictly at their spec homes. They seem to pay closer attention to the fit and finish on those than on the ones they build for the buyer.
