I contracted with them Nov 2004 at the North Port office. A year later and ever excuse in the book it seemed like, never even an application for a permit. There was a clause in the contract that they can pass cost increase onto the customer and there never was a start date. I was too worried about the land purchase since it was moving so fast that I didnt take time to have a lawyer review my contract I just wanted them to buy the land quick, what a mistake. Bottom line, a year later, nothing and I dont even know what my price is going to be in the end. I backed out due to their delay's and got my land back at original cost but they kept my 5% deposit. So I am punished for their delay if you can call it that or if they even were going to build the house. Ive already contacted a lawyer. My recomendation for these people is stay far away unless you want a big mental drain or a house in 2-3 years. They are telling people 2 years now! Ive talked to a few past customers that built a year back, same deal as mine they finally got in their houses like in 2 years. When you ask about were you are they give you the run around and you will never talk to the owner when you have a problem. I think the management is poor but they are blaming the subs for delays.
