Inadequacies of Benchmark Homes
Construction was not up to county code, inferior and below spec materials used in construction, builder lied about a children's playground to be built on one lot that was never built (instead the builder sold the lot to another outside builder that built a house that does not match the others), inadequate insulation in houses, windows very poorly constructed and installed, several homes have foundation leaks, erosion issues in development (land not properly developed), dead trees not removed during construction, builder does not respond to attorney letters sent via certified mail, slabs cracking, flooring improperly installed in some homes. Builder collected money for association dues and never formed the association.
