My Great Experience

Everything was explained in a way i would understand and accurately. The workers were nice and when i changed mymind on htings (which happened occasionally) things were handles with ease. I was treated with respect and would reccomend this company to anybody looking to build/ buy a new home

Beazer has issues

We had no problem at all with the actual contarctor hiumself, all the problems seem to come when we try to talk to the Beazer company themselves. We leave multiple messages and rarely receive call backs. We are constantly trying to figure out why things are going wrong in less than 18 mnths and they are always slow to help, if they offer help at all. They seem to assume that because we are young, that we have no experience in home building and give us the run-around. We have owned and remodeled 3 houmes already and are very upset at the way they handle things, particualrly treating us as though we are naive. We were passed between 3 different representatives that we were suppose to have direct contact with through the process, each one eithe moving or quitting so communication was never the same throughout the process. We are still waiting on a sidewalk to connect us to the adjoining lot and both homes have been completed for more than one year. The roof has been leaking into the house for about 6 months now and though they have sent someone to repair it, even THAT repair hasn't held. In addition, several "problems" we have had they simply don't believe us because they cannot reproduce it at that exact moment and then the warranty runs out soi they don't have to fix it anymore, or they just don't pay attention to what you are saying. As for the lot, they told us they would be putting up a 6 foot fence along the back of all the properties on our street to block the yucky chain link one. It was actually a stipulation in our contract. they agreed and then after we signed they decided to change it to a row of small pine trees which do not cover the other yards view like the fence was going to do. They also told us and our neighbors, that the yards would be relatively flat when graded and that we couldn't change the grading after we moved in. When move in day came, the yard has not one flat spot as they used our home as the "valley" to channel the other houses water through. We are highly upset about many aspects of purchasing this home and will not do it again, nor recommend anyone else to.
