Comments:
The builder makes serious mistakes and fails to accept responsibility for his mistakes, omissions, errors as well as those of his subcontractors. Close on the house and you are on your own.

Educate the Buyer!
A better job could have been done with explanations during the initial plan and upgrade selections. This would apply at the design center as well. While these folks go through this process daily, most folks do not experience the "lets build a new home" but once. Cannot know ALL the questions to ask. The builders rep. made some very ehlpful addition suggestions but there were others that were overlooked. During inal walkthru there needs to be more time allowed and the buyer needs a better understanding of what items need to be CAREFULLY examined, to remove the frustration, anger and dissappointment of finding 60 days later that certain concerns ,if not pointed out during the walkthru, cannot and will not be considered. Leaves a very empty feeling!
