Heritage at Lederach

First, I believe this site to be at least a little bias towards individuals that have not had too many good experiences with their builder. Mostly negative comments seem to be the norm . Secondly, I truly believe that when making one of the most important and costly purchases in one's life you should do as much research as possible, and site's like this one help in that process. My husband and I did as much research as we could on our builder, and when making the final decision, we looked at all the information we had gathered and chose the best builder we thought possible. We chose Heritage and have had great communication, service and ongoing support throughout the building process. Our home is beautiful, put together well, and so far (knock on wood) have not had any major issues. Besides our home, we are happy with the community we live in and the municipality as a whole. This is our second home that was custom built, and so far two great builders.

Heritage Building Group builds poor quality homes.

Windows have leaked and still are not replaced after 1 year. Poor grading of lot with water run off. Uneven walls. Trim work warped throughout house. Poor quality construction. No supervision of contractors on job site during construction. Upgrades improperly done. Warrantly department unresponsive with poor customer service. Homes slapped together with poor quality. Would not recommend buying a Heritage Home.

Poorly constructed home done by fly by night contractors. No communication with homeowners. No follow through. Leaking windows. Rude, discourteous service from warranty dept for punch list. Do not recommend this builder. Paid over $700,000 for crap.

I would strongly recommend against using Heritage Residential as a builder. Heritage was unable to live up to promises made in the sales contract.
