I was a first time home buyer who settled on the design due to lot selection/availability. The lots were gorgeous offering privacy and woods coverage not found in many developments. The home was awful. Poor drainage (builder refused to fix), extreme truss lift causing 4" of separation (builder had the drywall team gloss it over), one year warranty items that the builder said would fix only fixed 9 out of 17 items and then would not return phone calls. If building a new home with these people, bring your game face as you will have to deal with the worst customer service people you can imagine when you perform your interior selections. Inspect your siding carefully as the contractor short-cuts and attempts to hide the poor worksmanship leaving some areas directly exposed. Interior finish is terrible. Dome windows had to be redone numerous times just to give the appearance they were installed correctly. Painters never finished as the builder felt rushed to deliver a home that was already 2 months late. Walls bowed all through the house. Countertops were installed without thought to settling and drywall cuts had to be made to remove them in favor of what we had ordered at selection time. The list goes on..

I am very happy with our home. Pleased with construction. No problems with anything major and all minors were fixed within promised time periods, or close to it. Realtor was sister of builder and is RUDE. Told me that she would not discuss price and if I didn't like it she had 10 people behind me waiting to sign. She will move on to the next family. Problem- love the builder hate the relative. Too bad for Sommerset. Suggestion- have 2 realtors so we have a choice.
