We purchased our home in December, 2003. We faxed over a list of items that need to be repaired the 1st week in February. They do not return phone calls. They have sent a different representative out to view the problems each time and we get a different story each time. After repeated phone calls, they sent someone out to address a few items. They refuse to send competent subcontractors out to make repairs resulting in ruined grout in kitchen and a flooded bathroom upstairs. They have agreed to take care of some of the items but will not assure us that competent people will be sent out to do the remaining repairs or discuss how they intend to fix the problems. We have been told that for what we paid for the house we can only expect a certain level of quality workmanship and since we got such a "price" on the home, we should be happy with what we have. Mediation is the next step.
