All I can say is "Buyer Beware." Many of my walk-through items are incomplete. My move-in date was October of 2004. A month after moving in my floors began to sag. The linoleum is lifting in the kitchen/dining area. Water leaking around window seals and back door. Light comes through the front and back door. Heating and air not working properly. To heat the house I have to turn the heat on 78 or higher. Air comes through outside walls of house and on a windy day you can see the air moving the curtains inside. Appointments are made and not kept or they'll send someone who is unfamiliar with your case and can't make an executive decision and therefore employing a delay tactic --which leads to weeks, month, and years of nothing getting done! For me the battle has been two long years. I was due two home walk-throughs within the first year. I spent most of the first year sending faxes/writing letters and trying to get the Sales agents to get the warranty department or builder to act. The county inspectors, the company who supplied the lumber and others have been involved and still the builder has failed to resolve the problem. In addition to all the above problems, my foundation is cracking.
