What We Do

GETTING STARTED

Initial Communication
At our first contact, we'll ask questions to ascertain general square footage requirements, financial parameters and home site particulars. This will provide us with a basic understanding of the general scope of the project so that we can best assess your needs.

First Meeting
We may then schedule a first meeting of approximately 1-1.5 hours at which time architect and client will discuss the project at length. We will ask you to provide a survey of the home site, which will help us to better evaluate the property as it relates to improvements. We will also explain our services and processes of engagement. This initial consultation is a professional courtesy to you.

Initiating Work
After we have established project requirements, we will follow-up with contractual paperwork for your review that will include a Pre-Construction Agreement; a Residential Construction Contract with addenda; and an Interior Design Agreement.

The Pre-Construction Agreement is the only document we need up front in order to proceed and provides for all the professional work needed prior to construction, including architectural design; engineering and surveying; interior design; construction documents including specifications; and cost analysis.

Initial Fees
Fees for services rendered under the Pre-Construction Agreement are considered deposits toward construction and are credited toward the final construction contract price. The fees are determined based on the scope of project.
